BEHIND TANS BY TARYN

In high school was the first spark of my little business. What started with spray tans and doing a friend’s wedding hair slowly grew into something bigger. Over time, I added makeup, refined my craft, and expanded my services. Today, By Taryn is a full service beauty brand covering hair, makeup, and spray tans, designed not just as a beauty service, but as a way to help women feel their best selves and walk out with confidence.

My hope is that every time you leave an appointment with me, you walk out not just glowing on the outside, but confident in who God created you to be, ready to be a light for His Kingdom and to put your best foot forward.

God created each of us in His perfect image, and He calls us to shine that light in all we do. 1 Peter reminds us that true beauty comes from within, our unfading beauty, and not from outward adornment. That doesn’t mean things like a spray tan, gold jewelry, or an elaborate hairstyle are bad, but rather that our inner beauty should always shine the brightest.

OFF THE CLOCK

I’m a sophomore at Kansas State University, majoring in Marketing. I love a good iced coffee, listening to podcasts, scrolling Pinterest for inspiration, spending time with horses, and hanging out with the kiddos I babysit. I also adore my family, personal growth, and literally all things girly, including outfits, hair, and tans.

While my life moves fast, I’m such a Type B. Life is never too serious. I like to take things as they come, enjoy the little moments, and have fun along the way. I love social media, connecting with people, and finding inspiration in all the little things that make life sparkly. I’m a huge fan of pink, but I also love the timeless, classy vibe of black, just like I love mixing fun and elegance in life.
